Mewtwo (Wizards Promo 3)

This card was one of four possible Wizards Black Star Promos that people could receive with the purchase of a ticket for the theatrical release of Mewtwo Strikes Back starting November 12, 1999. It has a gold foil stamp in the top right corner that reads "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie" and features artwork by Ken Sugimori. Unknown quantities of this print erroneously have the gold foil stamp on the opposite corner rotated 180 degrees. In Japan, this print was available as an Unnumbered Promotional card on a two-card insert alongside Super Energy Retrieval in the Pocket Monsters Fan Book, released on May 20, 1997.
