These are the first sets of the new MEGA block; the TCG has officially left Scarlet & Violet to promote Legends: Z-A.
The new Mega Evolution ex cards appear to be textured and have glitter similar to the existing Tera ex cards. Also compared to the previous Mega ex cards from XY / ORAS, these cards are Stage 2 and evolve from their pre-evolution (so Kirlia, etc.). During XY / ORAS this was it's final evolution form with a spirit link, when all EX cards were basic.
